Company to set up MK Suspension
Never set my MK which has de deon rear end properly.Can anyone recomend a company around the North Lincolnshire area to set my cars susension up.

Throw away the top mk wishbones for starters..get some with caster in them.
take the 325 pound front springs and bin them 150 bec to 180.
Four wheel alignment with a slight 1 deg neg camber
and free up the steering shaft so it spins freely...
and take to matt from procomp to make fast..and safe.

Thanks for the replies what top wishbones are recommended I currently have the old MK round top wishbones.Seem to remember I have 350lbs springs on
the front and 180lbs rear but it is a car engined 2.0 8v vauxhall with manta box what springs rate is the best for this set up.

If its de-dion rear end it may be a 'locost' chassis. So do you have sierra front uprights or cortina? (may enable you to easy buy someone
elses uprights).
Is it for road or track use?
For road use, look what westfield use, on a (i think slightly lighter) crossflow engine they use around 220lb fronts, so something a little stronger
than that at a guess. I'm aware of someone running a stuart taylor chassis with around 140lb rear springs and has (in his words) a lovely ride.
(guess what lb springs i've got )
I'd also see what caterham set up the castor / camber as they've got a de-dion axle (nb its different for radial and crossply tyres). Try
setting it up at home as you have to take the axle apart to adjust and it will therefore be expensive to pay someone - you'll also need some
different thickness washers as you shim out the hub carrier.

It is a de dion rear but modified indy chassis.Front hubs etc are sierra.
Is maily road use but may do occassional trackday.

Ignore the comments about throwing away the front top wishbones. I can't actually believe that someone would give this advice!! The Indy
wishbones do have the required setback built in. Better to check your actual castor first and if it is wrong, or not what you require, find out
why and fix it. It may involve repositioning the upper wishbone mounts, or altering the wishbones to make them adjustable.
I also wouldn't advise looking at the spring rates that Westfields have because the geometry on the two cars is totally different.
If you don't want to experiment and play around with the settings and you want good advice, speak to Matt at Procomp, or alternatively, take
your car to him so it can be setup properly.

Did not know fibreform set up suspension do you have experience of using them and what kind of price do they charge.
MK may be another option as they should know how to set the car up.Has anyone heard of a company called Cadini motor sports in Lincoln.
