Advice on xe sump.
I've just been and looked at a neighbours new kit from MAC1 and he's got a vauxhall engine to go in it. He wants to know if he can get the
alloy sump shortened and baffled, where and how much? Any xe fans got addresses or phone numbers for him to try. He's got a 1.8cvh engine spare
as well. Preferably not too far from Chesterfield.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Bryn from Allyfab got back to me today. We'll see him at Newark to see if he can help as he runs one in his car. He mentioned the sbdev one for
a bellhousing.
Thanks, Pete.

The 8v vauxhall (sri type engine) is the same block with a steel sump which is easier to cut and shut yourself. yukspeed or rallynuts are good prices
for the bellhousings..
Ned.
beware, I've got yellow skin
