Help setting steering wheel horn up!
Bought myself a nice new steering wheel however not sure how to wire the horn up as its currently on the dashboard.

Got the two wires from the boss

the back of the boss - this is fitted to the sierra rack

with boss off - where do i connect the existing wires to?

Hmm.. you seem to be missing the connections on the column. Where that plate has been fabricated and screwed on there should be two electrodes that
contact on the two copper rings on the boss adapter and thus allow 360deg rotation of the wheel.
Editted to say, looking at the photo again the electrodes may actually be mounted at the top, its been a while since i fitted my wheel. but the
principle is the same.

if im right, those 2 wires you are holding connect to the horn button.
Looks like your missing a piece, ic has afunny name, like steering clock ?.
Its the part contacts with the back of your boss, the 2 brass rings you can see.

keep it on the dash. saves a whole lot of hassle
see on the back of the boss, you have the 2 brass rings? you should have another plate with 2 sprung brass pins which sit on those rings. the 2 spade
connectors plug onto those pins. i think thats how it works anyway

just looked in the haynes manual and they call the part you are missing "slip ring finger".
the part in the boss they call a "slip ring"

it fits in the squarish hole in the top of pic 4
the bit blocked off on yours is for the steering lock
