Make one in Carbon Fibre - it's an even better feeling!!!
Then again, I am biased!

Carbon fibre would be nice!
Think even an aluminium one would be a test for me, but if I can find anything suitable I'll have a go (or ask someone I know who might be able
to help out!!)

Start by making one out of plywood (1/8" should be fine) then, after learning lots of how-to's, have a go in either Aluminium, GRP or
Carbon Fibre.
It really is a good feeling - making stuff.

under the bonnet with that heat etc, would an alloy airbox be a good idea,
wonder how warm it could get??
warm air is bad
heavy is good, heavy is reliable, and if it breaks, hit them with it

I bought a Pipercross airbox @ Demon-tweeks.
There is a filter inside and I put a hose out in front af the radiator.
I guess there is 10-15 bhp more now.
A much revier engine.
