Wanted.... Push rod for Sierra Brake master cylinder.... Please
am working on the brakes this weekend and it seems i havent got hardly anything for my weekend work lol.
Has anyone got the push rods for the sierra master cylinder....
do i need anything else? i have a pedal box/ master cylinder/ with reservoir........
The master cylinder is the standard one for the drum rear brakes.....

I had to make one fore mine as the standard one is too short (if I remember correctly) I cut the head off a long M8 bolt and filed the end to a curve.
and sanded to make it smooth.

I;m about to do my hydraulic clutch on the ZZR14 and using some M8 threaded rod rounded as austin man said with a clevis from rally design will do the
job

top tip put the bolt in a Pillar drill if you have one if not mount an electric one in a vice and apply the file to the bolt while it turns this is
much quicker and gives a more even finish

Good tip
i've never thought about mountin the drill in the vice ( don't have a piller drill) simple but effective

emery cloth and oil is best to finish it of to a mirror like finish and it needs to be nice and rounded to reduce wear
