Hi
I have tried MediaLink from my Mac and that seems to work nicely... I have their other utility
for Xbox streaming and am very happy with it. I can't say if there is a good PC equivalent.
Hope that is some help

There is no replacement for displacement...

It says it can on the box. I've not opened mine yet, but when I do, I'll be putting up notices to play rFactor, GTR2, and F1 2010 with
some people on the board. Don't know if you can with Richard Burns Rally.

depends what you mean by video output. if you have a video or sound file on your computer, that can be played over lan via the ps3, but the ps3 wont
stream anything via its own lan output

Just to clrify I don't want to stream TO the PS3 I want to somehow get its video (or any video signal for that matter) out over a LAN. It must
be possible even if additional hardware is required.

Do you actually need it to go over the network itself (i.e. have an IP, be able to pass across routers etc) or just use some cat5 cable to pass the
signal?
The latter is fairly easy, there are both HDMI-Cat5 and Scart-Cat5 converters out there.

that would work fine but I need to avoid using wires.
I think I have found a wry to do it now

Apparently this is pretty straightforward using a capture card and VLC media player to stream the video
