High flow injectors for gsxr1000 Throttle Bodies
Hi there,
I am after some 400cc/min injectors to fit my gsxr1000 throttle bodies. As I am fitting a turbo and will run out of juice, and don't have the
space to fit staged injection.
The standard Keihin ones are 240cc/min (these are the same for gsxr600, gsxr1000 and hayabusa).
s2000 ones are 390cc/min and would be perfect.
honda prelude vtec, or NSX are 330cc/min which wouldn't be enough.
I am told that various other injectors can fit too (perhaps Subaru WRX, although I don't know part or model numbers and they don't look like
they are plug and play).
400cc/min would be about right, I need high impedance (i.e. around 13Ohm). I don't really want to drill my throttle bodies.
New injectors are outside my budget.
They look like this (right hand is gsxr injector, left is Honda Civic injector). Both of these fit fine, although the civic injector is longer I can
deal with that.

injectors
I machined mine out to fit and made the fuel rail hold them down in position. my injetors are out of a volvo turbo (Bosch green 380cc) the ones with o
ring seal at bottom of injector so easy to get good seal, got from scrappy cost of 5 pounds.

madteg,
was that fitting them into the zetec injector pockets, or into the gsxr TBI?
I'm struggling to work it out, and anticipate that I will probably end up getting injectors that don't fit and damaging my throttle bodies
at the same time (normal sort of bodge to try to save a few quid).
I've been offered some s2000, but price was too rich.

just to follow-up.
I posted a wanted ad on http://www.s2ki.com/
A guy in Texas sent me a set of s2000 injectors for $70 including postage, which seem to be work fine.
I was offered a few sets but this guy was first.
