Wanted:stainless mesh for a grill

Need to fill the gap where my carbs popped through the bonnet on the pinto setup. fairly fine needed, suppose medium is the term??

5" X 13" or 127mm X 330mm mesh, so pretty small.

or does any body have another cunning plan, bonnet is ali. Was going to make a former out of mdf with a router to get the curved edge and then a male version slightly smaller that I can press together to get the shape then glue to the back of the bonnet with sikaflex, sound feasible.

Yes I know I will have to tidy up the exhaust outlet!

Cheers gang

Rich

A former sounds OK but it might be difficult with stainless mesh unless the strands are pretty fine - it's hard stuff!
