if nothink on here, i'd try here
http://www.alloyracingfabrications.com/oil-catch-tanks/universal-1-2-3.html

phoned the guy on the 7th to order, he said the waiting time just now is 5-6 weeks as he's busy, but as the header tank i wanted was only small, should be nearer 4-5 weeks, he called yesterday to say it will be done today and posted today or tomorrow. pretty good i reckon.

£86 plus vat from CBS, or £36 inc vat from him. i know what i'd do again

Should mention tho,i wanted one of different dimensions than he advertises, and I imagine if you want one listed,he's hot a stock of them to go right out

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

old tin cans dont cost any where near as much as mentioned above. i recall several posts a few moons ago on LCB about catch tanks, lots of locost solutions. Those anodised ali drinks bottles that supermarkets sell seemed to be a good idea. Also recall a post about converting an old fire extinguisher (small car type - not those 6 foot ones found in pubs etc!).
