Wtd Alloy block

Does anyone have any offcuts of alloy in their workshop? I need a round/square block with a diameter of approx 5" and a thickness of around 1-3"

Anyone got anything? The prices for "offcuts" on ebay is just nuts!

Thankyou

i'd have thought that the only people with offcuts that size is someone using a cnc, or lathe. buying in a length of Alu billet 5" dia would be very expensive.

weve been buying some Alu for stock for some jobs at work. For Price example a 5Mtr length of 20mm OD tube is around £25

I guess it is wheel spacer size... its for a heatsink though...

There are a few sellers on ebay that have "offcuts" of 5" alloy round bar 20mm thick.... £20 plus £7 postage.... that is quite a lot

these guys are the ones that have been at the stonleigh show for years: Noggin End Metals
I've always found them very helpful when I needed odd wee bits (they do lots of odd/ fancy materials too)

there website says 5" dia or 6082 = £10.50 per inch
