Best Place to get a wiper motor?

Morning all,

does anyoneknow where you can get wiper motors from that are good quality for a good price, i have had a browse of the caterham and westfield site and they are pushing nearly £200!

Do most use the old Mini Wiper motors?

Any help appreciated!

Alex

I love Pinto's, even if i did get mine from P&O!

Yes, you are right - most people use the classic mini system - easy to fit, etc.

I got a full motor and drives from ebay for about £53.

Look on th'bay yourself - theres one here...TWIN SPEED WIPER MOTOR MGB/MINI/TRIUMPH/LOTUS/GT NEW on eBay (end time 31-Mar-11 21:30:25 BST)

Or a dearer one...MINI WINDSCREEN WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY KIT AUSTIN ROVER on eBay (end time 14-Mar-11 11:45:59 GMT)

Or maybe...MINI WIPER MOTOR & WHEEL BOX LINKAGE,1994 COOPER 1275CC on eBay (end time 07-Mar-11 20:09:24 GMT)

They'll all do the job, but I found that the wipers made too much of an angle with the screen, and went to CBS who supply some longer 'wiper boxes' which allow you to angle them over further.

CBS link you may well need these

Have a read of the thread and solution when I sorted mine. wiper angle

You have given me (and others) plenty of help in the past - I hope this helps you, Omega!

I think Land rover ones may also be an option similar to the mini.
