fan switch

I'm after a cooling fan switch for a 1600 crosflow,if you hve one or can tell me hwere I can get one I would be grateful.

where are you planning to fit the switch since tis will determine what fan switch you can use (they come in different sizes and temperature setting).

crossflow engine, as fitted to Ford escort and carpi had meachnical fan, not electric so there is no provision in the standard cooling system to fit one.

your choice is to fit switch either to the radiator, unless you are using radiator whcih can accept a swtich or to a coooling hose connector.


.... ah ofcourse, fit termostat from Fiesta - whcih has the hreaded boss for the switch.

Fit a thermostat housing cap (mine came from a Fiesta) with the threaded boss for the switch.
