Daihatsu Hijet or similar 4x4 wanted
We get snowed in for a few days each winter (3 long weeks in 2009!!) as we have a 1/2 mile farm road leading to our house and I fancy something just
for the winter to get us to the shops.
Nothing fancy but needs to be legal or close to!
The hijet seems to be ideal as it's cheap
Anything going or WHY?
Cheers!

I may be wrong but i think they did a 4x4 version of the hijet in people carrier form. If so, i should think it would be pretty good as they have
quite skinny tyres!
Edit - Wiki confirms there was a 4x4

How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

Ta for the heads up on the Mitsu but its too big and costly for me. I'm really looking for summat to go to the shops for 2 weeks of the year
when the snow is too deep for the Mondeo
