Help needed, How to you service a Jet ski
Guys, a friend of mine has a jet ski and has asked me to service it for them, i'll do plugs, oil, filter (oil i know has to sucked out) but what
else do you have to do to them.
Any help would be great, i've googled stuff but under jet ski service, its either peeps offer services at big prices, or peeps trying to sell
you guides on how to do it.
O its a 1300cc yamaha engine if that makes any difference,
cheers guys
UNDERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
OVERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
HORSEPOWER is how fast you hit the wall.
TORQUE is how far you take the wall with you.

Give Mark at Mac1 Motorsport a ring he used to mess about tuning and racing those nutty things, I'm sure he can point you in the right
direction.
My Daughter has taken over production of the damn fine Triton race seats and her contact email is emmatrs@live.co.uk.

I thought the 1300's were all 2 strokes.
If it has oil and filter then its a 4 stroke, which as mentioned are a delicate beast. I re-built countless jetski's and the 4 strokes are
really for a dealer to check over. If it is a 4 stroke and its the supercharged one I would not touch it.
If its a stroker, then service is plugs, and dont forget to grease the pump bearing on the output shaft.

hi there, as said i have been jetsking for years and years, so can help any questions.
i would imagine the ski in question will be a gp1300r yamaha which is a 2 stoke engine, so no oil filter. is he trying just a yearly service or a big
service?
cheers
