Hi Carl, Good plan! Best thing would be to sign up and join ( costs about £15 but gets insurance discounts/ magazine etc) the Jago owners club, there
are usually plenty of cars for sale on the website and people quite often get to hear about cars long before they hit e bay. You can often find out
what the cars are like without travelling as someone close by can nip round and check it out, we have had 19 of these and have only ever bought one
through e bay and that was a car we knew already. There is a helpful section on what to avoid when buying on the website
.
Also as a full member other people are more likely to get you parts on the cheap , collect parts that are described as collection only at the other
end of the country and also a wealth of experience with these relatively simple vehicles.

Ps It may be best to shrewdly buy a car that is MOt'd and complete rather than a £50 basket case unless you have loads of spare time to use up
as the differece between an excellent car and a bag of bits may only be a few hundred quid- there must be hundreds of these cars in "long term
storage" some of which will become money pits where the cash injected will never be seeen again.

1st one,
1986 dark blue mk1 based soft top with hard doors, 1.6 pinto on 4spd manual box, black and silver wellers, digital rev counter, bull bar with spots,
detachable tow bar set up, has been off the road and unused for little over 2 years, still cleans up nice though, does need a new startermotor to
complete but runs fine!! log book states jago geep..........
2nd one,
1982 age related X reg, jago on logbook! mk2 based orangey red colour project. has newly rebuilt 1.3xflow fitted about a year ago and run up but never
finished the geep, no roof or doors but does have old torn one as pattern if needed, 6point roll cage, very tatty corbeu buck seats, has different
coloured wings and bonnet. would make nice lil project or use to revive another geep!!
Breaks my heart to have to sell them but just dont have the room to keep them any longer.......
id like £600 for the pair, will split but would like around £475 for the blue one and £250 for the orange one.........
Based near to King's Lynn, Norfolk......
