Just to clear up the 200 & 205 block thing. 205 was the early block, has less core plugs, 200 block was later on and stronger than the 205. This can also be long studded.

205 Block YBD - Sierra RS500
205 Block YBB - Sierra & Sapphire 2WD
200 Block YBJ - Sierra Sapphire/Escort 4WD
200 Block YBT - Escort 4WD

There was also YBG which had a green rocker cover, dont really know a lot about it. There is not a massive amount of difference between them machincally, the YBD was a bit special, i think you can safely knock that of off your wish list unless you have a lot of wonga!

I think ive got that little lot right.

isn't the 205 stronger?

I think that everybody says it is.

I might be wrong though

Hi Dixie,
Yes I have got the set up still installed in the car so loom and ecu are there and I beleive all 4x4 Sapphire ecus are L8, though I stand to be corrected as I have not had eyes on to check it.
I have offered the whole package to "Hector" Motor/turbo/intercooler/silicon pipes/manifolds(inlet/exhaust)
/ecu/loom/injectors for £1750 .If he does not want the whole package I may split it and sell in parts for a better price. But I will give him the chance of first refusal.
