Wanted: A locoster with a lathe + pillar drill!
Evening all.
I'm after some one to make some parts for me, in exchange for beer tokens obviously! I would prefer someone who has the raw material- if not I
could try and get hold of some and post it when I'm back from holiday next week.
1- one 5mm thick steel plate with some holes in
Description
2- two turned steel tubes
Description
3- two more turned steel tubes
Description
4- one turned steel spacer with a M10 thread in the middle (or an 8.5mm hole and I can thread myself- something I can do!)
Description
5- four injector blanking plugs in alu
Description
6- six TB spacers in alu
Description
If these pics/drawings aren't good enough the ones in my archive should be a bit clearer, or I can email them. Or I can re-do them if they are
totally hopeless!
So, can anyone have a go at this for me?
Thanks,
Craig

What kind of dimensional accuracy are you wanting?
I can help you with all of the above however, the steel plate would be cut with a jigsaw so you would have to file it square if it has to be
perfect!
I have odd bits of material but would probs have to order some of it in.

Would the last person who leaves the country please switch off the lights and close the door!

Where are you based?
You might find your local laser-cutter can do them for you at a suprisingly low price and delightful level of accuracy.
If you can cad, you can produce the files the need for cutting and turning.
I use yorkshire profiles, but maybe not much use to you - depends on location.
When all you have is a hammer, everything around you is a nail.
