MX-5 gearbox torque value needed.
Afternoon all.
Having shortened the selector housing on my mk1 MX-5 gearbox, I now need to put it back together. All I need now is the torque value for the ring of
bolts that hold the tail and rearmost main section of the box on. Anyone know what I'm aiming for? If not I'll just go for the usual limit
of M8 into ally, but I'd rather do it to what Mazda think.

Afraid not. I can't see to find any info on rebuilding the box at all online! I can find a manual for the 6 speed box, but only general guidance
for the 5 speed.
