exhaust
Hi
We modified a bike can with a separate Cat for the IVA
came out at 97 decibels with a DB killer
After the IVA we removed the Cat & the db killer & it gave 98DB
So the killer did not make a lot of difference.
IVA exhaust with cat
We now have fitted an R1 can which is a little less harsh for road use.
Good luck
René
This is the type
YAMAHA YZF-R1 5PW ORIGINAL REAR EXHAUST SILENCER END CAN

yes.the bike cans are quiet but i have a free flowing force racing exhaust manifold, headers and collector with a 2 1/2" exit. so ideally im
after a 2 1/2" inlet to the silencer.cheers

Just get yourself one of these: http://www.raceco.com/silencers.html . I have one on my Vortx, and it looks great. Nice and quiet too :-)

Contact 907 (Paul Gooderham) on this forum.
He made me a large custom one for a very reasonable price and I'm very happy with it.
He has a website too http://www.paulgooderham.co.uk/exhaust-cans
