Moulded Foam Seat
Has anyone made a two part PU moulded foam seat then covered it with a layer of GRP and finished it off with topcoat? If so what results did you
achieve? I have covered a previous seat with duct tape but am looking for a better finish without going to the bother of producing a buck, then a
mould and finally a moulding.

Definitely not, when the Moose is finished, I have just enough room for a Harley/Moto Guzzi alongside it..
I've realised to swoon after Unimogs & Zils isn't realistic.

They just used standard duct tape to keep the foam and the resin separate and act as a release agent.

This one is duct tape, wiped down with car wax before he starts layering it up..
Splits easy enough.

Is there any reason one can't use any old car seat cover (that you can buy for next to nothing), trimmed down a bit, and resewn? Nobody talks
about this, but what are the fancy bead ones you see using? Special fire proof material, trimmed and upholstered, and that appears to be it.

Are those the actual blocks though? I got the impression from the video that between the dozen or so blocks he used, and the spray adhesive to glue
them together, the tin of glue was more expensive. If he'd used those foam bricks, it would have been the other way round.
Unless they can be got much cheaper?

2 X OASIS FLORAL WET FOAM BRICKS / BLOCKS, MAXLIFE, FRESH FLOWERS.
or box of 20 for 11,30:
