thanks for asking something i hadn't thought about whats the norm when fitting them in the engine bay of a 7 type thing?!

looked on europa spares and they have one they say is 29mm thick? but burton power have one that is 3.5" so there is evidently a lot of difference!

it you use 3 inch manifold the you will have to cut an hole inyour bonnet so the filters will fit, a 29 mm manifold will keep the filters inside the bonnet.

i think i'd prefer it to come out the side anyway in a hope of getting some decent airflow to them. so maybe the 3" would be good to go for. i'll consider anything though so if anyone has one.............
