I want one. Anyone got one for sale, or know someone that has?

I sound it don't I. Truth is though I'm the exact opposite. I am not in a hurry and will wait for the right one to come along no mater how
long it takes, got to be near perfect in every way.

Cheers for that Cerbera. I have been to see that guy, he's trading from his front garden, literally. Nothing wrong with that but his cars are
all tired and shabby. Having said that though they go like a rocket for such a big car. 0 - 60 in a reasonable 6.5 seconds but where it impresses the
most is mid range, apparently faster than a Ferrari Testarossa (but not a patch on the new BMW M3).
The right one is out there somewhere and I'll find it eventually.

Dean,
I live in a tree at the bottom of your garden. Be afraid, be very afraid.
Hands up on the MK Indy and the choice of engine but I've been a Saab owner since 98, just looking to upgrade after driving a FPT Aero and being
mightily impressed.

Paul,
Bet your 4age doesn't rattle like mine does after not liking too many long sweeping bends and hairpins at Elvington on tuesday!
Looks like engine out to investigate, could be time to build a tuned 4age

Hi Dean,
Now is the time to seriously consider the 20 valve with tasty throttle bodies as standard.
Since my last post I have bought a Saab 9000 Anniversary 2.3 Turbo. The mid range acelleration is unbelievable. Faster than a Ferrari Testarossa 50 -
80 mph and all for 2 grand. Happy as a pig in sh1t.

Excellent! Fancy starting our own Saab 4age club,it would be exclusive of course...
Would love a 20 valve but think I'll get it through the SVA first,it will be easier without the cat to get through.
Can't say how pleased I was to find how quick the 4age 16 valve was though at Elvington the other day,not too far behind the Blade cars, and
sounds gorgeous, until it got the big end rattle any way.
The crank is away for a polish and should be back in the car at the weekend hopefully, complete with a MK2 sump design..

Dean,
Where did you get your exhaust from. That's the next big item on my list. And if you don't mind me asking how much did it cost?
Do you reckon the Saab 2.3 lump would fit under a standard Indy bonnet?.
Good to hear the 4AGE is a good choice of engine. Only another 2 or 3 years and I should be able to find out for myself.

Hi Paul, Used Raw exhaust cost about £350,very nice system, although Martin is making some nice ones as well now!
Bloody engine machinist company has let me down and I'm still waiting for my crank backNew mark 2 sump is made ready to fit,as I'm
sure my home made copy of a Raw sump is to blame for the oil surge problems, cant blame them though as I made it myself.

Dean,
Doesn't the Raw exhaust foul on the diagonal tubular cross member strengthening strut metallic object thingy?

Did you make/fit the crankshaft oil scraper? There's a pic on bpj's site........look at the Toyota catalogue obviously!

I half remember a conversation last year at Exeter where this was mentioned.
Hope this helps,
Ian
PS Paul,I still haven't got that seat. It's due to be delivered with my Christmas stock. I'm hoping that it will be before Xmas
2004.

Paul, I just cut the diagonal out and took a shorter one down to about halfway along the bottom rail just after the engine mount, then put another
diagonal in 1" box in the bottom corner, and another in the top, rear corner going from the footwell up to the top rail. I've also put
diagonals from the top inner part of the footwells to the top rail, triangulating and stiffening the front area, not as complicated as it
sounds,i'll try and post some pics if possible.
Bob,What do you mean snake oil?no slippery customers up here mate

The oil scraper is primarily for dry sump systems.
