Fireblade cooling part
I'm trying to tidy up my cooling system at the moment and I'm after the part which I think is off a later 919 engine.
The part is the Metal T piece that sits under the thermostat housing.
Thanks

That is just typical, 2 weeks ago I hade a box of fireblade & R1 cooling hoses connectors etc. go unsold on fleabay for 99p, there was definately
the housing and the bit you need.
I didn't offer them up on here as they were predominently hoses and bike specific....
Sorry but I seperated the ally, and weighed it in along with a load of swing arms and parts I bought for a project, that I changed my mind on, and
again, no one wanted to buy the bits off me
Then I wonder where all my money goes.....

If this is the bulky tee it contains the thermostat, nothing is then provided within the upper thermostat housing.
On mine I deleted this tee, popped a thermostat into the upper housing into to head and took the pipe directly to the top of the radiator, blocking
the bypass return to the water pump. It now works the same as an earlier engine.

Thanks guys
I've just had the head gasket done and it's like what mark said it looks like I've been running it without the thermostat.
So I had one somewhere but it look like it could be in the skip.
