wtd: hydraulic convertible roof system
doesn't matter what its from, just looking to work out if i can make the rear part of the pickup bed cover open hydraulically, as thats where
the fuel filler is
I've been eyeing up the boot hinge system on my BMW for attaching to the panel, but hydraulics would be nice, as in essentially locked when the
ignition is off, and something a bit cool
perhaps even an adjustable spoiler in time too.
anyone got anything hanging about reeeaaalllllll cheap from a car they've been breaking? do any mx5s have hyraulic roofs perhaps?

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

I would think that 12 linear actuators would be a good solution, nothing to complicated in terms of pumps etc, and can be run from the car electrics.
They are available in a range of load capacities, and also lengths.
Some incorporate the limit switches etc,..
