tube
need a steel tube about 1" long,6" id and 1/8th wall,anyone got such an animal in their back pocket?
also the alloy tubes you see on the roof of builders vans for carrying copper pipes etc

Conrod , are you sure about the size as it looks like you are after a piece one inch long by six inchs internal diameter and one eight of an inch
wall thickness?? Would an old hydraulic ram be any good, have a mate who is a hydraulic engineer and makes rams , he may be able to help. Rusty

Plumbers use a length of plastic stench pipe (soil pipe) with blanks on each end. Are you building a bazooka John ? Get on scrapheap challenge and
look for a lorry engine with wet liners.

John - there's an alu tube like that in the roof of the barn. Probably 4" diameter rather than 6" but it might do?
