7" Tripod Push Fit LSD, 3.62 or Lower Ratio
Does anyone have an LSD for sale, I need it to be a 7" Push fit/tripod shaft style with a ratio of 3.62 or lower (IE a higher number), 3.92
would be the ideal but these seem to be very rare in push fit diffs.
Any condition considered as need it for mocking up initially, as long as it can be rebuilt. Have founbd a few Non-LSD units for sale but nothing with
an LSD fitted.

this is because ford never made push fit lsd's you need to find aftermarket ones and thay are in high demand also lower ratios like 2.9's
are also harder to find
if your mocking up surely any push fit diff will be fine? you coud then buy a new lsd to fit into it

As has been said ford oem LSDs are only bolt on with unequal length splined shafts going through diff bearings.
You can either r3move the tripod cv from your existing shafts and hybrid-ise them to use bolts on CVs and use a ford oem 3.92 lsd from escort cossie
or sapphire cossie rear or 2.olitre XR4x4 or use the more common 3.62 from the 2.8/2.9 V6 XR4x4.
If you wish to stay with push in shafts then you will need a standard 'open' diff fitted with a suitable aftermarket LSD such as quaife
ATB, or a TranX (now owned by quaife), Gripper or ZF plated LSD such as those aimed at Caterham market as they have push in shafts as standard.
If you need a 7" open diff in either 3.92 or 3.38 give me a shout :-)

Strange, I have been looking through the 7th Heaven list of differentials (see link below) and it says that both ratios (3.62 and 3.92) are availiable
as tripod type with LSD's?
Here:
http://www.super7thheaven.co.uk/components/sierra_rear_differential/
It has to be a tripod (push fit) shaft type diff, might just get an open one and then sorce a Quaife ATB later.
How much do you want for the 3.92 CNHHS1?

I dont think thats correct although there was supposed to be a mythical XR4i with oush in shafts and LSD but no one has ever seen one in the flesh in
the uk imho.
20 quid from shrewsbury or telford collected once ive unearthed it from the mezzanine at work or delivery to most of the sprint/hills venues that i
attend?
