WTB: Desperately in need for Sierra stub axle!

Hello,

I'm desperately looking for a left side Ford Sierra stub axle. This part seems impossible to find, and I would appreciate any help in this matter.
Can't drive my car until I find this part.
Which Sierra models had this odd stub axle? If anyone has one for sale I'll buy it at once.

Just had another look at your picture and don't recognise the one on the left.
Does the one on the right fit (same splines)?
If so you could possibly fit a spacer sleeve to a standard one??

I believe they are from a 4x4 with drum brakes

A spacer sleeve should be possible, but I dont have the tools to fabricate one
It has to have splines on the inside, otherwhise the bearing would rotate with the spacer sleeve.

I have managed to find a couple of drive shafts from 4x4 Sierras, but all of them had push-in shafts. The bolted one seems very rare.
My best option if I dont locate the correct stub-axle is to replace the stubs, bearing and wheel hubs to the other model.

Does the stub to the right have an ABS ring on it too?

2 further options - neither 'simple'. but 'future proofs' any further replacement parts needed.

Switch to Discs, use the stub on the right and change hubs, carriers, calipers etc.

Switch to push in shafts. Means replacing Diff (or diff flanges/input stubs), new shafts, but 'should' mean you can retain drums and current bearing carriers.

The set up you have is actually what I wanted on mine as I wanted to retain drums and have bolt on shafts, but getting the correct arrangement of parts from rarer cars pushed me to having the common bolt on/disc setup.

I have a Ford 7,5" with a Quaife ATB differential, so a new diff with push-in shafts is not an option I'm afraid.

I already have disc brakes. But the best best option seems to be buying new stubs, carriers and hubs and cut away the caliper mounts.

All 4x4 Sierras had 7" viscose Lsd's so not push fit shafts.
Some super rare xr4's had bolt on lobro shafts and drum breaks apparently but never seen them

An option would be to rethread the stub axle.
Original thread is M22x1,5, it can be rethreaded to M20x1,5 or M18x1,5 thread and to use according fine thread nylock nuts for locking. M20 nut needs some trimming to get correct locking as the original nut height is 17,2 mm.

The picture with the damaged threads was a borrowed picture.
Mine was not repairable.
But I have found and bought an new stub axle from an TVR with the correct Sierra parts.
