William Towns Hustler
My lad wants to build a car and he has chosen, of all things, the Hustler!! Mind you, he is good at woodwork!
I know it's a long shot (a very long) but does anyone know of any plans anywhere.

I do not know of any plans, but we did have one local to me, many many years ago, and it was electric
It was built by a Teacher from a local school,
I have to admit at taking the wee out of it whenever I saw it, as it was like the Pope mobile and HORRIBLE

I'd be interested in plans too I think the hustler looked brill and I have just the motor sitting in the garage looking for a home
You'd be surprised how quickly the sales people at B&Q try and assist you after ignoring you for the past 15 minutes when you try and start a

Get him to build a Toylander first get it finished before Christmas then sell it to a younger car enthusiast-,there’s a lot out there. He might fancy
moving on to metal then..
We used to look at the Hustlers at Stoneleigh and we used to always wonder why in this climate you would use wood I love working with wood and earned
a living from it but there is a time and a place.......
