Long shaft type 9

Did a trial fit of my t9 box today, I'm using a Caterham bellhousing to attach it to a 1.8 K-series, and waddya know, the input shaft's an inch too short.

Which now means of course, that I'm on the lookout for a long input shaft T9 box (to the best of my knowledge from Capri 2.8, XR4i, Granada - any others?)

Anyone got one 'laying around' (!) they're looking to shift for a few tokens. Willing to part ex. with a perfectly good shortshaft jobbie if it's any good to you.....

Are the shafts interchangeable, or are there other differences?

there are differences in the boxes, the long input shaft is slightly more heavy duty.......... not sure what all the differences are apart from a support bearing on the input shaft.

The main difference is the length of the input shaft, and the layshaft, which has bolted in spigots with larger needle roller bearings on the heavy duty box.
