Striker Bodywork
Having had a good look at the (very) sorry state of my Striker front end (1991 vintage) I'm wandering if it would just be easier to replace
it.
Has anyone got a RAW Engineering flavour nose cone and bonnet for the Striker they would like to unload?
Whilst I'm thinking about it, I could do with a windscreen also!

I can't help with what you are looking for , but just so you know, MK have now have the rights to build Raw strickers.

With the age of your striker, have you got the escort lower arms with escort anti-roll bar in front of the radiator, escort arms with rear facing
fabricated compression links, or triangulated lower wishbones with an adjustable outer balljoint.
The first option has a different nosecone profile, and it may not be possible to fit a late sylva/raw nosecone without major modifications to the
nosecone, the other 2 options should require new brackets, but otherwise should fit fine.
Have you got a windscreen frame?
I can get the autoglass number off my screen, if they are still able to supply the glass.

Wow, you must know your Strikers!
As it happens I have the v2 flavour - "escort arms with rear facing fabricated compression links".
I'm not averse to altering the Striker to make thigs fit. This has been off the road for 25 years when I got hold of it, have stripped it to
nothing, cut loads out and shifted things around and it's now sporting a MK2 MX5 1.8 lump with space (hopefully) for a supercharger. Still got
loads to do though.
My one-piece nose cone has been chopped and glassed together so many times it is in a sorry state. I like the two piece front-end flavour and am
pleased that MK are going to be able to supply them but am quietly concerned by the potential cost, no offence to MK but they are not what I would
describe as great value when it comes to spares.
Right now the car is bodywork-less, i.e. naked, and it is surprising how good it looks (well to me anyway) in this form and keep toying with the idea
of just running side panels, small arches and a cut-down nose cone.
I do have a windscreen frame, but the glass has delaminated. If you are able to share the Autoglass identification number that would be helpful.

Description
I thought there was an identifier among the numbers, but looking it seems they are only approval types, trying auto windscreens is at least an avenue
to look at. I do have a spare screen, but it is like yours with the laminate starting to go white and peel apart, and is not marked at all.
