Sierra caliper pistons

Anyone got a pair of these lying around or is it ok to machine the very front rim flat as it a little eroded - the shiny part of the piston is fine.

As a rule unless it is totally knackered it will be OK as it as it is.
If it has any really bad lumps on it due to being forceback with unsuitable tools just dress of the worst with a flat file.

I've got a pair of XR4x4 calipers going spare. Straight swap onto any Sierra upright for instant brake upgrade. Only catch is you need 14" (or bigger) wheels to clear the carrier.
