It’s not a mk1 those pt nos are 83bg and have a square hazard switch. The first nos in the ford part number are the model year, hence 83 was the first year they were made. Yours will have a round hazard button.
Anyway I think I have one if you get stuck.

Managed to find the one I have , the hazard switch is missing the cover and bulb , the part number is 87BG 138 302AA . It was working when removed but that was at least 15 years ago. I have known several Sierra indicator switches to play up on locusts due to being open to the elements, a squirt of electrical contact cleaner followed by WD 40 often works .
