According to some old posts by NS Dev and Volvosport it was 1999 but no more specific info than that. I read elsewhere (on migweb) that it was in a copy of CCC.

Sorry no more details than this, is it enough info for anyone to be able to help?

Thanks,

Ned.

I got a copy of Dave Walkers Engine Management book hoping it would cover home made throotle bodies , apart from a mention that he had made them so far I haven't found any information. I think I may have an old C.C.C
but it is in my loft with loads of mags , will try to find it when I get time . Keep you posted, Rusty

The article was in Sept. 97 CC: Fuel Injection Shoot Out.

fuel injection shoot out does'nt cover turning weber carbs into throttle bodise just a comparison between carbs and various throttle bodies. The only mention of the item Ned is looking for is " It all started when I cut up some old Weber carbs to make a DIY injection system" . Been up in loft this evening looking for this article, some of my mags go back to 1970 ! making me feel old. Will keep on looking Ned , hope your not in a hurry. Rusty

Ned I've sent you emails to two different accounts so far with the scans of this article. Have you not received. I'll upload them to my webspace this evening for anyone else interested...

I picked them up of here about a year ago. Not exactly mega detailed a couple of pages only.

Cheers

Seabass,

Yes I did recevie the second email you sent, thanks, but it's not quite what I'm after.

You sent me an article about DIY throttle bodies from old carbs. I'm after an article that compare's direct to head vauxhall xe throttle bodies with i believe tapered xe bodies on a manifold.

Rusty Nuts,

No hurry, if you do find it that would be great, if not don't worry..

Thanks,

Ned.
