Sierra downlink
I've managed to kill the rubber joint on mine while extending it so I'm gonna need a new one.
The 16mm solid shaft type.
Anyone got one laying around?

Which bit is knackered?
You can buy the rubber bit on its own, grind the rivet heads off and replace them with M8 bolts with nylocs.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

The little metal strips that connect the 2 rivits across the rubber are what I've bent. Do these come with a new rubber disc?
Digital camera batteries are on charge. Will try and post a pic later.

How the hell did you manage to bend them?
Can't you just bend them back? Then replace the rubber if necessary.
