I made one for my ST - reasonably OK:

1. measure
2. make a template out of cardboard
3. transfer to aluminium sheet
4. cut out, bend and rivet together (from a single sheet of ali to minimise joins!)
5. fit with self-tappers

No drain holes? There's confidence for you . You can use a bike cargo net as a stopgap measure if you've got somewhere to attach the hooks.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Good point - I may drill out the lower corners as drain holes, though I am planning to put a (hopefully waterproof-ish) cover panel and lid on top.
