2 litre pinto head not gold plated ;)
Hi
I am looking for a head to fit a 2 litre pinto to get the engine back on the road, preferably in Southern Scotland or Northern England.
I don't need anything at all fancy bog standard would be great!!!
could buy for little money or swap for x flow heads and parts- there is a long list of what we have on a for sale thread titled "x flow garage
clearout ".

Pinto Head
Did'nt know if I should reply living tother end of the country, but if you are really stuck I have a 2.0 Leaded Pinto head, its still on the
spare engine I got with the 2nd hand, part finished kit I purchased,
(I'm fitting a 2.0 injection engine.)
I removed the rocker cover & the cam shows virtualy no wear - to be honest it looks as good as new, which is strange for an old engine.
If you pay the carriage - (about £15 TNT via work) its yours foc.
If you are interested I could whip it off and have a quick look at the valves, but other than that I don't know the condition of it so you take
your chance !
No manifolds & a couple of studs missing.
When you're up to your ass in alligators you tend to forget the initial objective was to drain the swamp !.

As I write this the head should be burning up the M6 (albeit inthe back of a truck) but it is a start!!
