www.fasteronline.co.uk are ordering one for me (they couldn't get hold of a momo) if you give them a call, you might get sorted

You won't find a decent one, the casting quality of eveyone I looked at was diabolical, so bad that the steering lock would not work.

I ended up cutting the ally boss out of the sierra wheel and making my own collapsable section. The picture shows it in position, I hid all the edges with a universal driveshaft boot (they are more elastic than any make specific ones) Rescued attachment Boss.jpg

The hexagon in my Sierra steering wheel measures 18mm across the flats.

I got my boss from europa spares, agreed quality is crap but the steering lock works as does the indicator cancel and the slip ring from the sierra wheel itted straight in, Basically it just looks a bit ugly.

Hijack- sorry:

Daft question probably but if you have a quick release mechanism, is this in addition to the boss or instead of (in which case it would be steering wheel manufacturer specific presumably).

If it's in addition to it then does it go between column and boss or boss and wheel?

Cheers,
James

Thanks Mark,

So I take it you have to get your QR mechanism from the wheel and boss manufacturer then? Or do others manufacture them?

Cheers,
James
