Strange Request

Does anyone have a MKII Golf GTi, 8v, 1800 engine that they'd like rid of? Preferably a particularly cheap or free one.

<EDIT>... may have a 1600 Golf Driver engine to swap.</EDIT>

Bugger Missed it. Had probs over the last few days with Outlook downloading my Hotmail.

I've still got My 1600 driver which is in relatively good nick bodywork wise. Just miss my GTis and want another Golf with a bit of grunt. Cars looking good with the bodywork on by the way. Oh and still have your ball-joint whatsit. Promise to drop it in soon.

Morf, how much are you asking for it and where are you?

Lots more grunt?

No rush with the fork thing. Nose is fixed on and hinged, bonnet and scuttle just sitting loose at the moment.
