I'm not sure I'd class 24BHP out of a 3.3 litre engine as "powerful"
Also, even with a Pinto installed in my own car, that thing looks like it weighs a bloody ton ![](/images//smilies/shocked.gif)

if you wanted a wacky, vintage motor a Crosley Hot Shot motor or something would be better suited than that lump.

beware of old hp ratings
The older the car the more likely the hp rating has nothing to do with the actual hp produced.
I'm not refering to the 50's and 60's SAE bhp ratings though they are certainly wrong on the high side.
I'm refering to vintage stuf like this. The hp rating was determined by a formula used for insurance purpose IIRC. Nothing to do with actual hp
at all!
