Yep! Was sent the correct dipstick (i hope) but they knackered the tube so didn't send it. Was told to cut mine down to 230 mil which i did but
the dipstick won't bend round the curves in the old tube so it's no good. Gary GSX has got one and is going to bring it round. What a
star!! Saved me throwing the pinto out in the road!
Why can't i just have an engine that is complete with the right working parts? .......I'm a little peed off at the mo but will calm
down after a cuppa.

I guess that's the problem If your sold an engine that's been rebuilt, but not sold as a working unit, parts can get missed out VERY
easily if it's not all kept together

Hmmm, my tube's got a bit loose (oooh sir! ). How hard is it to replace them?
I assumed they were pressed or braised in place. Is this not the case?
Cheers,
James

I know a dipstick with a Pinto!!!
ONLY JOKING!! Nr Nut,
When you build MK 3 it would probably be best to source you're own donor parts, then you can keep loads of nuts & bolts and odds an sods,
could save a load P*** b***ing about in the long run...........
When is the SVA?

Dunno when SVA will be as i have not had the car inspected yet plus i'm still waiting on my exhaust which is still on another car waiting for
it's SVA at MK's so i can't run my engine till i get it. Could be another couple weeks before i get it
