Stainless exhaust clamp
Trying to find a 2" version of the one in the pic , lovely and thin and smooth (like me)
The 2-1/4" I have won't tighten down onto my link pipe/ silencer joint.
NOT Mikalor or others with raised edges.
Am I right in thinking that as long as the clamp screw is not contactable by "the sphere" then with such a small stand off from the main
pipe then thay are SVA proof?
Cheers

I have seen these, can;t remember where though, CBS maybe?
or ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vespa-and-Lambretta-Stainless-Steel-Exhaust-Clamps_W0QQitemZ8072117663QQcategoryZ25640QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

similar but not quite the same; it may be possible to replace the nuyt.bolt by the cap head bolt.

HTHYea , they are nice, but they also have the flared edges.
I thing it's to make them suitable for hoses as well as pipes, to stop them digging in at the sides?
BTW it's looking good, have you got Notts SVA booked yet?

might be a daft question, but have you tried MK?
MK sportscars : 01909 731187
MK engineering : 01709 815740
would think sportscars would be a better bet.

Regards your SVA question, if the clamp is contactable by "the ball" then you will fail. Turn the clamp so that the raised parts are
pointing at about 45 deg's towards the car, (downwards), hope that helps. atb Chippy

Will Mikalor fail the SVA then?
If so I've wasted my money!

Nor mine - but I did fit it with the clamp at the back where the tester's ball can't reach it (ooeer!)
