Wheel Studs
Hi all, I'm looking for a place local(ish) to me that sell wheel studs for a standard Ford Escort MKII rear axle.
They are M12x1.5 and I'm in Bradford.
I just got some delivered this morning and the shank is too long (not enough of it threaded).
Help Pls asap

yep, it a right bugger; loads of peopl sell lnger studs but I;ve yet to find standard length.
What I did was stick them in a drill press and whislt they are whizzing round, use an angle grinder to "turn" them to the correct diameter
and then using a die, cut the threads.

Send me a U2U as I have 16 at home in Wakefield. They might be what you want.

Cheers Tinks, I've tried S&J with no luck. Cheers Carl, but they are too long (shank).
Here's what I'm after ... the one on the right, the shorter one (x8).

Hi all again
The studs are original 1978(ish) Escort MkII.
I have tried many places and you just can't get them. It isn't a problem unless you are using these spacers, because of the thread,
which we were, the problem is that if you don't tighten the extenders properly then after several hundred miles you end up with 3 snapped studs
like we did I say 3, We've not checked the other wheel, it's against the wall atm.
Anyway, I've found a PLACE in Scarborough who sell plenty of spacers and studs etc.
£20+postage for 25mm spacers AND 8 longer studs, just awaining delivery.
Oh, and thanks for the help
