about 300-400 for an project.
Nortons seem to go for a bit more

Hi,have a good think what you want to build before you jump in.
I'm building a Velocette Venom and its costing a fortune in bits,but will be worth 5 k when finished.
Wheel rebuilding will cost 3 to 400 whatever the bike so you really need to look at the resale value of the finished item,as whatever you rebuild will cost a couple of thousand .
Basically the larger sports bikes fetch good money so you will probably be best building one of these or a Triton ar Tribsa cafe racer which will actually make you money.
I know where there is a nice but tatty and complete Douglas 350 twin for about £1000 that is a bit different.
Let me know what you end up going for and I might be able to pass on some contacts.
