Fiesta Mk2/3 XR2, XR2i or reasonable base model?

Looking for a fiesta to put on the track. Doesn't have to have MOT or tax. Not looking to spend a fortune but can pick up and pay cash. East anglia area would be nice but will travel for right car.

Cheers,

Doug.

I have a Fiesta XR2 that I was going to do up for the bride but as she is now waiting for a double hip and knee replacement.......
I would have to check mileage etc. I seem to recall something like less than 80,000 miles. It is red with pepperpots.
Let me know if interested. Not looking for major money. The last time it ran, it did about 100 miles without any probs, when I picked it up.
(edit)
PS I have two good replacement doors as the originals have a touch of rust worm.
