Type 9 box gear stick remote

My gear stick is just about under the dash on my GTS at the mo - infact its would need to come back 8" to bring the centre of the lever mount inline with the steering wheel. I need a gear remote for my type 9 box to move the stick back, obviously it doent need to be 8"!. If all else fails I can make one...

If anyone has a spare let me know pleeeease. I think westfield make them, anyone know how far this moves the stick back?

Cheers,
David

If you can't find one, or it won't do what you need, take a look at my photo archive for "T-5 shift extension". Not sure how similar the T-9 is, but the principle will be the same. Mine works very slick, and the rear support removes all slop from the linkage...it shifts much better than it did without the extension!!

Dave, give Darren a call tomorrow, he is getting a job lot done at the moment, he has fitted one to one of the cars in the workshop and it works every bit as good as a westie one.
I think he said he was going to do them for about 50 notes but can't say for sure.
Cheers.
