Wanted 5-core coiled lead steering release
I have tried all the usual suspects, maplins and RS.
They do a 4 core or 15 core keyboard cable. I could use the 15 core and connect 3 cores together, but I would prefer the correct lead.
I am after a 5 core coiled lead for my quick release steering wheel. I have mounted the V2 veypor to it.
I would love the spa 8 pin release but at over £255 it is a bit OTT

I have used these people before, based in Peterborough. They may have some off the shelf, or could make some for you.

Or, tail-lifts on trailers often use 7 core, so you could try your local Truck spares place.
Or, Durite, they stock most stuff like that.

I may have a spare bit, let me get back to you later this afternoon before you buy any.
Edit: Yep, got some, its 7 core, bright yellow , how long do you want it (yeah, i know its coily, but a rough natural / stretched length so i can
send you enough). PM or U2U me your address and i'll try and get it off to you by the weekend.

OK, got some 7 core, in black. Only problem is its quite chunky, coil OD is about 50mm, the actual cable od is 11mm. If you want it, let me know.
