Figured out at the show that our Deluxe Starter Kit (item for item) is cheaper than:

Robin Hood,
Tiger Avon,
MK Indy

Every item on the car is available from GTS Tuning, www.gtstuning.co.uk

Not carbon but carbon effect ABS.

Just pricing the seat pads at the moment, cost is totally dependent on the material that covers them. I'm going to have to produce an options list for this.

The GRP pads themselves for self covering would be £35.

Kind regards,

Darren

LOL...good one. Robin Hood is definitely not quality (btw, nice car), but return for dollar is where they live. OK, let's do a comparison, based on what is *published* on the GreatBritishSportscars and GTS Tuning web-sites. The RobinHood 2b has the following parts not found in the GTS Panther :

Steering and Suspension Components
* Pair of front coil over dampers
* Pair of rear coil over dampers
* Pair of track rod ends and lock nuts

* One double universal jointed steering shaft ???
* Steering column support bracket
* Steering column bush bracket

Set of Stainless Steel Inner Panels

* Firewall panels
* Feet panels
* Dashboard panel

* 'P' clips

Exhaust Components

* Stainless steel exhaust silencer
* Stainless steel 4 into 1 performance exhaust
* Silencer baffle
* Stainless steel exhaust heat protector
* Two rubber exhaust mounts

Windscreen Components

* Toughened glass windscreen (BS Kite marked)
* Two piece, rounded aluminium frame
* Lower windscreen to body 'T' seal
* Glazing rubber
* Windscreen pillars (pair)
* Wiper blades

Light Set

* Chrome headlamp units (pair)
* Sealed beam units (pair)
* Front flasher lamps (pair)
* Pair of SVA extensions
* Number plate lampRear combination lamps (pair)
* Rear fog lamp
* Side repeater lamps (pair)
* Reversing lamp

Interior Components

* Mountney 11" leather rim steering wheel
* Mountney steering boss and horn push
* Perspex for instruments
* High quality sable or black cockpit carpet
* Length of vinyl
* Cockpit edge finishing material
* Snap on edge trim
* Litre of high-grade glue

Miscellaneous

* Two Sabelt four point harnesses
* Set of five, five spoke alloy wheels and nuts
* Set of five, 205/650 15 Yokohama A539 tyres and valves Number plate lamp bracket
* Washer bottle and pump
* Handbrake cable for drum brakes
* Fuel tank
* Maxcool Radiator
* Two hoses and two bends
* Electric radiator fan
* Radiator locating bracket material
* Twin universally jointed propshaft with grease nipples
* Servo mounting panel
* Set of three metal brake pipes
* Four flexible brake pipes
* Locking aero style fuel cap and neck
* Demister vents
* Improved front cycle wing brackets
* Multi-bend tube for cycle wing brackets
* Stainless steel stone guards and beading
* Set of bonnet catches
* Bonnet catch safety rail
* Bonnet edge trim
* Nose cone grille
* Nose cone badge
* Rear wing piping
* Handbrake angle
* Spare wheel threaded rod
* Tube of high grade, polyurethane sealer
* General fastener pack
* Offcut pack
* Pair of gloves
* Instruction video (12 hours)

If you made this far down in this post, here are the part (s?) that the GTS has the RH does not:

Sierra Front Uprights

Ooops, those are exchange, so not really *included* in the Panther.

Note, to be fair, the Panther is only 2000gbp's vs the 3000gbp's for the 2b. However, on top of that 2000, GTS charges 180 for shocks and springs, 700 for an exhaust system, 120 for a propshaft, 230 for a lightset, ....

Some of those parts are not included in the kit, because they dont form part of what the Panther is, there has never been a windscreen available for the Panther, though Darren is in the process of developing one at the moment I believe.

Also:
* Steering column support bracket
* Steering column bush bracket
These arent required because there is a tube welded into the top of the bulkhead to support the lower end of the column.

Like you say the RH kit is £1000 more anyway.

To be honest I dont think, price wise, theres much to choose between RH and GTS if you do your sums, but I know which one will give you better quality for your money

You pays your money...

Wow that is one lovely car and stunning colour. I love it and want one. I was dissapointed to not have been able to go this year but now I am gutted. I'd loved to have had a good look round that. Does any one know what colour it is called? I may have found the answer to my what colour body question. Top work Darren and loving the seat pads too. Quality.
