New Bosch LSU 4.2 5 wire heated O2 sensor.

I need a new one of these does anyone know a Bosch dealer who will supply at reasonable cost?

thanks Rich, I'm not sure what cars use these, I need it for my LC1 wideband (knackered the sensor today)

I think it is mainly volkswagen / volvo who use this sensor

I think the bosch part number I require is

I ran the engine without the sensor powered up. Apparently this kills them pretty quickly

Thanks people plenty of places to call. I guess when these sensors are fitted to cars by the manufacturer they get powered on with the ignition so no chance of doing what I did.

Oh well, expensive mistake, I'll know better next time........

Bill was the cheapest ordered from him this evening.

from the LC-1 manual

"When installed in the exhaust, the oxygen sensor MUST be connected and operating with the LC-1 whenever the car is running. An un-powered oxygen sensor will be quickly damaged when exposed to hot exhaust gases."

I found out the hard way, now I'm £45 worse off.
