so long as it's the electronic sensor on the gearbox and not a cable

Don't worry about the mileage it's *cough* adjustable.

Its a scraped one next door (no V5 and half broken for spares - waiting for the scrap man to collect it)

so as long as the mileage is correct on your car and all it shouldn't matter what you do to it

How much do you want ? (i.e. plugs wires and all or just the unit?)

ps - it might be the new year before I can send it

A bit of wire and the plugs along with the unit would be ideal.
