Wanted - Pinto

Is there anyone on here swapping out there pinto this winter? I may be after a 1.6/1.8 or 2.0 pinto and 4 speed box which i think is a type 3 from Mk1 Escort or Capri.
Should be after one in a month or two.

Engine must be sweet as i don't want to rebuild or build.

Cheers

I may have one soon, may have a type 9, coming out of a Westfield,

Burton alloy rocker cover, piper 300 rally cam, ported head, extra valve angle cut on the valves, lightened flywheel, rebuilt and new clutch 2500 miles ago, electronic dissy and coil matched to the cam, also have the 4-1 manifold

there will be a few other bits but not sure what else i will need for my upgrade.

type 9 standard gearbox rebuilt and brough from westfield only done 2500

I am based in worthing

Thanks

Oooh sounds interesting. The engine is not for a 7 so i won't need the 4-1 manifold or type 9 box as there's not enough room in the tunnel for one. So all i need is the engine and its ancillaries.

Please keep me posted.

I'm also looking into xflow too!

Many thanks
